The latest Science Warehouse product release has successfully gone into production. The developments form part of the regular cycle of new features and enhancements available to all users of our cloud-based procurement technology solutions.
As with all releases, the latest enhancements are designed to further increase the power and simplicity of the Science Warehouse solution to help customers deliver Active Spend Management.
One of the key developments in the December release was in Health & Safety compliance. Buyers who track the purchase of potentially high risk products such as certain chemicals will now have the ability to run enhanced hazard reports. These reports include details of any hazards associated with a particular product. ‘Drill-down’ reports also allow users to view all the catalogue products available to their organisation that are linked to a particular hazard category and analyse the order history of the products being used within departments. The functionality increases the data available to Health and Safety auditors and also helps buyers make better informed purchasing decisions in relation to high risk substances.
Jon Moody, Product & Technology Director at Science Warehouse said, “EH&S compliance is a critical area for many of our customer organisations. Use of a structured data tool such as that provided by Science Warehouse provides the level of standardisation that is essential across the supplier base. The ability to slice and dice this data with the new reporting features further improves governance.”
